The Audi Q3 received a face-lift last year, so the model doesn’t see many changes for 2017. Audi ’s small crossover now has a new entry-level trim to bring the range’s cost of entry down. The Q3 Premium is new this year, coming standard with front-wheel drive. With the new base model, the rest of the Q3 lineup gets some more standard equipment; the mid-level Q3 Premium Plus gets auto-dimming mirrors, heated power-folding side-view mirrors, and a power tailgate, while the top-level Q3 Prestige now has an optional sport package.

The Audi Q3 is the automaker’s entry-level crossover. Powered by a small four-cylinder engine, the Q3 is available with both front- and all-wheel drive. New to our shores a couple years ago, the Q3 has been on sale globally largely unchanged since 2011.

It’s no secret that crossover sales in the United States are booming, and Audi’s been keen to get in on the action. While a new crossover based on the modern underpinnings of the Audi A3 sedan and hatchback is coming, the Q3 was brought over from overseas as a stop-gap measure.
